Kerry Katona shares worrying update as she admits covid left her feeling ‘worse’

Kerry Katona has given her social media followers an update on her health saying she’s feeling ‘worse’ days after contracting coronavirus.

The former Atomic Kitten singer, her fiancé Ryan and daughter Molly all tested positive for the virus just a few days before Christmas, putting their festive celebrations on hold.

The 41-year-old took to her Instagram Stories to reveal she’s in ‘a bad way’ after first feeling ill over a week ago.

“Why do I feel like i’m getting worse and not better???” she wrote over a shadowy picture of herself in her bathrobe. “F**k off Covid!”

In another post, she wrote over a black screen: “Not good!!! I’m in a bad way. I pushed through Christmas for the kids but my god this isn’t good! Just want to be well now! Physically and emotionally exhausted! Merry f**king Christmas!

“Started feeling really poorly on the Sunday! LAST WEEK!!!!! How much longer???? It’s been over a week!!”

On December 21, Kerry revealed that her daughter Molly couldn’t fly home due to a positive test.

“You really couldn’t make this s**t up!” she wrote over a picture of two lateral flow tests.

“So my molly was just about to fly over to come for Xmas but she’s tested positive and then my Ryan is really poorly and he’s now tested positive!!! Mine is negative but feel like s**t. I hate Boris!”

She went on to share a selfie where she looked exasperated over the situation and added: “Anyone any wiser on the restrictions?? What the actual f**k is going on??”

The very next day, her fiancé Ryan Mahoney, 32, also began suffering from Covid symptoms and tested positive.

“I am devastated. I’m hanging on by the skin of my teeth. I can’t believe it. We’re isolating Ryan right now. It’s an absolute nightmare,” the OnlyFans star shared with OK! magazine.

Detailing how her partner had been struggling, she added: “Ryan can’t even lift his head off the pillow he’s so unwell and he’s really fit and healthy.”

The star said that all the positive tests meant her mother couldn’t visit to celebrate the day.

Kerry, who was also supposed to be performing in panto, has to take a break from performances until she’s feeling better.

Kerry’s string of bad luck comes as cases have been soaring across the UK with the new Omicron variant.

According to statistics, over 700,000 people had to isolate during the Christmas period after contracting the virus.
