Cut 1 pound peeled and deveined shrimp into 1-inch items, add to the meals processor, and pulse till coarsely chopped, 4 to five (1-second) pulses, scraping down the perimeters of the bowl as wanted. (Alternatively, finely chop all of the substances by hand till no bigger than 1/4-inch items stay.) Transfer to a big bowl.
